Homeschooling on the road

We home school and have for close to 15 years now. Being on the road with Shane and his job makes it very interesting to say the least.  We learn a lot on the road: how to get along, how to share, patients, which lead to loving each other. If these thing don't happen we kill each other. No one is dead or came close to it so I guess we are learning them well.
I was lead to home school do to the public school system failing me, I was one of the one that slipped through the cracks. Actual I was push through the cracks. At the age of 14 my mother figured out that I was functional  illiterate. I could read and write just enough to maybe fill out a job application. After going to to the wonderful councilor at the school and telling them this; they pulled my records, read my TEST score that where above average and told her that there was nothing that they could do about that they would not even put me in reading improvement. So I quit school and taught myself.
Kinda explains grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors don't it. If they bug you don't read or learn patients:  read (Don't Sweat the Small Stuff).  As I tell my kids if you are breathing your learning. Never stop learning.
